The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That would round things out once it is live.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should inform your decision.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
Everything in one place, with regulation, trade tab withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, is at TradeTheDay.
