TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
